Not any of my kids (they are are averse to needles like their mother), but an increasing number of teens want to get a tattoo.

Today my former pastor blogged about guiding a young person through this decision, and his counsel is so wise, I had to share it with you all.

Lisa Grant: I am the parent of past and present teenagers. I've also spent the past 14 years involved in many aspects of youth ministry. In 2002, God laid on my heart a desire to help tear down the fence between Christian parents and their teenagers. I am, by no means, an expert. I am a parent who shares the same struggles that you do. It is my prayer that, together, we can help each other.
