Talking to teens about TV role models
Integrating faith and culture is not always an easy thing to do. Here's a great discussion tool from Common Sense Media when watching TV with your teens, which I highly recommend if your kids enjoy the teen dramas (soap operas).
I am the parent of past and present teenagers. I've also spent the past 14 years involved in many aspects of youth ministry. In 2002, God laid on my heart a desire to help tear down the fence between Christian parents and their teenagers.
I am, by no means, an expert. I am a parent who shares the same struggles that you do. It is my prayer that, together, we can help each other.
